My fourteen year old daughter and my husband returned home from Mozambique, Africa this past Wednesday.
This was her first trip to Africa, my husbands eleventh.
I prayed that this missions trip would change her life, and I know that it has.
While there, she was able to experience a variety of ministry opportunities. They ministered to widows, bringing them food and prayer. She and the team prayed for the eyes of one widow who was going blind, and when they were finished, the woman could see!
My daughter prayed over a young girl her own age, suffering from malaria, with a high fever and headache, and when she finished, the girl was healed! The fever and headache were both gone.
The entire team worked to feed hundreds of orphans and bless them with clothes sent from Dress a Girl CT. They ministered within the local village, and spent one night camping deep in the African bush, where they held an evening crusade. Many who attended were saved and healed.
They saw three generations of one particular family denounce their religion and burn their various articles of witchcraft, and fully accept Christ as their Savior.
They gave away 10 new motorcycles to pastors and missionaries with funds raised through the Motorcycles for Missions program.
Was it an expensive trip?
Did I have to trust Jesus to watch out for my daughter thousands of miles away?
Can you put a price on a experience like that?
There is no way to measure the worth of the souls that were changed, saved, healed, touched, and delivered.
It is truly Priceless.
