Josh: Jman. What an imagination this boy has! He loves to play. He is messy with his toys, but he loves each and every one of them. He is funny, and a sweetheart. He likes to make people happy, and takes it seriously if someone is not. One look at those big brown eyes and your heart melts. He loves his brothers and sister, and to travel with his daddy whenever he can. He is my cuddly boy, and is the first to pass out hugs whenever I need one. The light of Jesus shines bright in his life!
Isaac: Little Man. IZ. The firecracker! He is so full of life! He wears his emotions on his sleeve, and can be just as sweet as he can be cranky. He is silly and funny, and loves to be the center of attention. I’m confident he’ll be the class clown I get phone calls from his teachers about. You never know what to expect from this little guy, he keeps you on your toes. He’s precious. He loves to dance, and lives for Sundays when I take him to church so he can be in the service during praise and worship You can’t be around him and not feel happy!
Big Thor and Harley: The Great Danes. The giants who live with us. They are just big teddy bears with a loud bark. I always let them get to the door first when the pizza or delivery guys knock, so that everyone knows they’re here. I’m not sure they’d hurt a fly though. They love the kids, and chewing stuffed animals. I never have been much of a dog person, but these two are pretty amazing.
There are of course others in my life who I couldn’t function without. My sister, mom and dad, my brother and his wife, and my new baby niece (I don’t get to see them nearly enough) and some very dear friends.
Birthdays are about being sentimental, right?
There you have it. My family. Through thick and thin, the good and the bad, they make me happy, and are what I am thankful for today!
