I don’t know about you, but I get so excited when Big Idea releases a brand new VeggieTales!
Their newest show, Veggies in Space: The Fennel Frontier was recently released this March.
I think each time I watch a new VeggieTales with my family I claim it as my “new favorite”, but this time I really think it is.
True to VeggieTales form, they’ve taken a fun and popular story and given it a very veggie spin. This time they’ve given a go at Star Trek. My boys love Star Trek, so it actually even had the teenagers laughing along while they sat with their little brothers and watched the show. My personal favorite character has always been Bob the Tomato, and I think he rocked as Mr. Spork!
Join Captain Cuke (Larry the Cucumber) and his loyal first officer, Mr. Spork (Bob the Tomato), as they embark on an out of this world adventure to save the galaxy from a menacing space pirate. The surprising reason behind Luntar the Looter’s power-stealing antics lead the entire Veggie crew to learn a valuable lesson about sharing: if you have enough to spare, you have enough to share!
The lesson learned in Veggies in Space is based on sharing, a very important lesson for little ones (and big ones too) to learn.
Veggies in Space: The Fennel Frontier is available in stores now and will make a great gift for Easter this year. Not only will your kids love the show itself, but they’ll get a kick out of the new silly songs with Larry, as well as enjoy the track featuring Jamie Grace.
