Catching up on my Treasure Hunting finds

March 22, 2011 by Molly

I realized today that it’s been a while since I’ve last updated on my thrifty treasures I’ve picked up recently. I haven’t taken pics of everything, nor do I have beautiful pics of what I did photograph. Bear with me, my photo skills are on my list of things to improve on.

Yard sales are just starting to pic up around here, and so are the finds at Goodwill on Mondays after everyone has dropped of their weekend goodies.
I’ve been on a search recently for a few specific items. I’d like a vintage or really cool pedestal cake stand. Also, wood spice racks in all sizes that hang on the wall. I have a neat idea for them that I’ll put in another post. And last, long dresses or skirts for my girl to wear to Africa when she goes in July.
The rest is all for fun.

Enjoy these, I’ll try to add more pics another time. I WISH I had a pic of the vintage WWF toy box my sister snagged at Goodwill yesterday for only $3.00! Ugh, she saw it first for her boyfriend, or I’d have gotten it for Big C. It seems like my girl has been the one racking up…

cute shabby chic crate for my girl and her girly stuff, $4.00

Four little red plates for her little treasures $0.50 each

Three jars of vintage marbles for collection. We found these on sale at an antique store, all three for $15

and finally for me, a one cup coffee maker and a huge crock pot, $5.00 for both, and they both work GREAT!
