Creative Inspiration for Your Everyday Life- DIY Home Decor & Crafts, Painted Furniture, Thrifty Makeovers, and Recipes
Well, hey there! I’m Molly, and in 2010 when I began writing Just a Little Creativity, my five kiddos were young, I needed a creative outlet beyond my Etsy shop and booth space, and the world of blogging was just coming into it’s own.
I’ve always believed that everyone has a little bit of creativity inside them, and it’s always been my hope that by sharing my ideas here with you, that you’ll become confident enough to discover that for yourselves.
I want you to come here knowing that you’ll find tutorials and recipes that suit any skill level (yes, even you beginners), and that you’ll be inspired to go forth and create on your own.
As the years have gone by, this blog has grown above and beyond those first posts where I shared photos of my family & sweet babies, our weekend and travel adventures, and birthday parties that were awesome but had terrible photography.
As we’ve found ourselves in an entirely new chapter of life, Just a Little Creativity has taken on a more niche theme as well. These days, you’ll find mostly DIY home decor and crafts, thrift store makeovers and upcycle projects, painted furniture, and time-tested family friendly recipes (and still probably a book recommendation or two, because I’ll always be a reader and want to tell all about “the best book I just finished”). I’ve fallen in love with all things farmhouse style and share that often here. And for those of us who love treasure hunting (thrifting, picking, yard-saleing), you’ll still find many upcycle and makeover projects to inspire you.
The future is bright, and colorful, and creative, so let’s continue making our way together one project at a time!
