My boys love being outdoors, doing anything and everything they can to stay on the go. After shooting several videos, we’ve learning some things about using the camera. First of all, it takes exceptionally great videos while moving, which is great since that’s the whole point, right? Second, it’s very user friendly. Just a few clicks of the buttons, and it’s up and running. Charging the battery and transferring the videos onto your computer is also easy with just a quick plug into the USB port.

We did notice that there’s a bit of a learning curve to shooting a really great video. For the best results, we found that the less the camera was pointing up at the sky the better. It just made the lighting too bright when it was pointing up. Also, videos shot indoors or after dark didn’t turn out well either. So, my advice is shoot your videos during the day, keeping the camera away from the sunlight. One bonus that we haven’t tried too much (that might solve both of these issues) is the free video editing app download available on the Action Shot™ Camera website.

Overall, we’ve had a great time with it. The boys are getting some new “toys” for Christmas that I just know they’ll be excited about making a video for while using them.
