Get Ultra Protecton for your Computer Devices with Ultra Sleeves™

October 4, 2013 by Molly

No one even questions anymore whether we live in a technical age. We don’t think twice about letting our toddlers play with our iPhones, iPads, Kindles, almost any smart device. We invest a lot of money into our electronics, and then hand them over to kids sticky and dirty fingers, even take our chances with them ourselves at the beach, in the kitchen, by a pool, you name it.

Have you ever wanted extra protection for your device other than the case and screen protector? A product that doesn’t let the worry about scratches and spills limit you from using your new computer tablet? I’ve been able to try a product that does just that.  Ultra Sleeves™ are disposable, protective sleeves for computers tablet and e-readers such as iPads and Kindles.
Ultra Sleeves™ are designed to be economical solutions for using your computer whenever you want to protect against that “oops” situation.

I’ll say up front that I did not take the chance and intentionally spill water over my iPad just to see if they really are waterproof. But, that being said, the sleeves are made from the same high quality, acid-free, and recyclable plastic film used in the collectibles industry, with added anti-static feature to better protect your expensive electronics. They use double adhesive strips which provides an improved seal and the resealable adhesive lets you open and close it back up with ease for battery charging and adjusting. The only thing I didn’t really like about this design is that you can’t charge or use headphones while the sleeves are on the device.

Basically, these sleeves feel quite durable, and I’m comfortable taking my chances and having the iPad around precarious situations with the sleeve on it.
To use the sleeve, it’s quite simple. You slide your device into the sleeve (which is like a pocket) and then remove the adhesive on the flap, fold the flap over, and seal. They’re intentionally disposable, so they’re not made for the same sleeve to be used over and over. Once it’s served it’s purpose for the day at the beach or pool, or it gets dirty or worn, you remove it and throw it away.

Ultra Sleeves™ are available on Amazon for around $11.99 and one package has 10 sleeves in it for 10 separate uses.
