Happy Earth Day everyone!
I appreciate the idea of recycling and most definitely think we should do it whenever we can. I admire crafters with projects & ideas that think outside the box and recycle unpredictable items into some extremely unique ideas.
Here’s a round-up of 10 really clever projects you’ll love, and they can all be made from recycled materials.

Earth Day was established on April 22, 1970 (almost 50 years ago!) to educate people about our environment. It was actually a political awareness campaign. On the first one, folks across our nation held protests against the treatment of the environment. The United States Environmental Protection Agency, the passage of the Clean Air, Clean Water, and Endangered Species Acts all came about after the first Earth Day.
In 1990 Earth Day went global, with 200 million people in 141 countries bringing awareness to the state of our environment and ways to makes changes. It was then that recycling became a main focus.
In the 2000’s efforts towards global warming and clean energy knowledge were added to the agenda.
Today, over 20 billion people around the world celebrate this holiday every year.
