May the 4th be with you Jedis!
We’re huge Star Wars fans in my family. I mean, we have a lot of fun with it, and geek out a little (my sister and her husband joined the 501st, okay?) One year I dressed all the kids in Star Wars costumes for Halloween, including a 3 month old baby R2D2. We may or may not have seen The Force Awakens about six or seven times in the theater.
Anyway, all that to be said, I’ve never actually created any type of fun galactic foodie things for my family. The shame!
However, there are some extremely creative food artists out there who have, and there’s never a better day than today to share these treats. From cakes to rice krispy treats, there’s a little bit of something for every fan.
Stormtrooper Star Wars Cupcakes from The Jenny Evolution

BB-8 Cookie Cake from Eclectic Momsense

BB-8 Quesadillas from My Crazy Good Life

Star Wars Chewbacca Cookies from Simplistically Living

Star Wars Yoda Chocolate Candies from Optimistic Mommy

Star Wars Rice Krispy Treats from Mom Endeavors

Lightsaber Popsicles from The Joys of Boys

Star Wars Stormtrooper Snacks from The Scrap Shoppe

Star Wars Galactic Party Mix from Wit & Wander

Star Wars Animal Cracker Cookies from Clever Pink Pirate

And just for the fun of it, here are those Star Wars costumes I mentioned, circa 2008 (in case you couldn’t tell that it was almost 10 years ago from the wall color and decor, yikes). Oh and also, to my now teenagers, if you’re seeing this? Sorry not sorry 🙂
