Things that make you say “What the Hecka!”

May 9, 2011 by Molly

“What the Hecka!”
My Jman used to say that when he was about two years old. Ever since, it’s been a favorite phrase in our house.

My sister and I went antiquing last week to find our Mom the perfect Mother’s Day gift. My mom is a lot like me, if it’s handmade, vintage, from an antique or thrift store, she loves it.

My sister finally found the perfect pair of hilarious concrete garden frogs for her new garden.

I found for myself a “Happy Mother’s Day” to me gift. Two gorgeous, hand painted canvases of India. Or of Thailand. Maybe they’re of some Pacific Island. In other words, I’m not sure where they’re from, but they’re beautiful and my husband told me to get them.

But, that’s not the point of this post. While we were browsing, I took pictures of some of the most random items we passed by. My sister and I had the best time, laughing and pondering what someone would really do with some of this stuff, and now you can do the same.

For your viewing pleasure, I present to you, What the Hecka…

Giant rocking Cow, anyone? No? How about a zebra?
Come on kids, come have a seat on Santy’s lap…
Anyone remember the story of the Gingerbread Man
Plastic Ram Head. Sure, why not.

Soup ladle for a giant
Really? I can’t even think of a caption for this one.
My sister’s wedding gown
Maybe there’s a matching one with roses for hotdogs
I bet these come to life at night. Cue the horror movie theme music.
Speaking of creepy dolls…
