If you love unique, quality, and affordable items for your little   ones, you will love Little Trendsetters on Etsy.

Kristy Willie is the fantastic artist behind the scenes of Little Trendsetters. She is a master of fabric and color combination. Her fabric choices are bright, trendy, and fun. At Little Trendsetters, you’ll find a variety of boutique quality items, from cuddle blankets and bibs, to belts and hair clips. Kristy is the host of my current giveaway. To the winner, she is offering your choice of any of the toddler scrappy belts in her shop. So, don’t forget to ENTER the giveaway.

I love to meet other “mom artists”. It is so inspiring to me to find women who are running successful businesses while caring for their families. This is true with Kristy. She and I are EtsyKids Team members, and recently, I’ve been able to get to know her a bit.

Like many of us, Kristy is a stay at home mom to two little girls who she calls a DIVA a PRINCESS. She enjoys reading, music, four wheeling, camping, snow boading, and sewing. She especially LOVES chocolate and a cold Dr. Pepper! (I knew I liked this lady!)

Kristy started creating things when she was pregnant with her first daughter, everything from hair bows to blankets. As her children have grown, she has enjoyed making items that grown with them. She says that sewing and crafting are her sanity savers and her creative outlet while raising two dramatic little girls.

To spread the word about her craft and Etsy shop, she currently relies on friends and family, and word of mouth. Her blog has also helped with along with Facebook with attracting more fans. The more fans she get the more giveaways she likes to do.

Kristy’s favorite item to make is her belts. She likes that they are so fun to mix and match colors, and they it look great in the end! She would love to be still creating things as long as possible. She says she will continue to as long as she still has “nap” time at her house!

Be sure to connect with Kristy on Etsy, on facebook, and her Blog.  And again, if you haven’t already, be sure to enter to win one of her cool toddler belts.

For all you moms out there wondering if you should take that first step toward pursuing your dream, go for it! You have to start somewhere, and we all need “sanity savers” as Kristy calls them. Whether it’s starting an Etsy shop, or any other type of business, be inspired to simply begin!
