Max Lucado’s Hermie the Common Caterpillar Prize Pack *Giveaway Winner Announced*

September 9, 2011 by Molly

Max Lucado’s Hermie the Common Caterpillar has been a well loved character in our home since he was first created. In fact, when Thomas Nelson gave me the opportunity review a new series of Hermie books, my 11 year old says “Oh! I remember Hermie! I liked that guy when I was little!”

My three and five year old sons still love Hermie, and watch his dvds often in their church classes on Sundays as well as here at home.
Now, a new line of Hermie books have launched this fall.  Not only are there Hermie books for early readers (ages 4-9), but also Little Hermie, perfect for ages 0-4!

Those of you who have older kids that have grown up with Hermie can now introduce the new Hermie books to your younger children!
Even if you don’t have children in this age range at home anymore, you can certainly

appreciate that  these products will be timeles, with simple teachings of the word of God that will inspire a whole new generation of children.

Here’s what Max Lucado himself has to say about the new Hermie books.

My three year old loves the two board books Thank You God for Blessing Me and Thank You God for Loving Me. He has memorized some of the simple lines, and likes to say them with me as I read. It’s kind of become a tradition to sit on our front porch and read books while waiting for the school bus to come by in the afternoons, and his Hermie books have been on the top of the pile quite often recently.
My older children have also enjoyed taking turns reading to the younger two the early reader book Hermie, A Common Caterpillar.

I was even able to take the lovable story of Hermie one step further, and Little Man and I made simple caterpillar bookmarks for his older brothers and sister. I was able to incorporate the lessons learned from Hermie about way God loves us, and added that He made each of our fingerprints special.

You learn even more about Hermie the Common Caterpillar as well as purchase these three books at TommyNelson.com

Even better, you can enter to  WIN a HERMIE EXTRAVAGANZA book bundle now!
You will win a copy of these three books:
Hermie: A Common Caterpillar
Little Hermie: Thank You God for Blessing Me
Little Hermie: Thank You God for Loving Me

Giveaway ends 9/18.
*UPDATE* Thanks to all of you who took the time to enter! This giveaway is over, and the winner has been announced. I appreciate each and every entry, please feel free to enter any and all of the giveaways at Just a Little Creativity for more chances to win!

I was provided a copy of these books for review by Thomas Nelson through Tommy Mommy.
I only represent products I love on my blog, and my opinions given are 100% my own.

I love that they have realized that they can be themselves – they don't have to be like everyone else, something Hermie has learned.
