My husband and I have both read the adult version and have been blessed by it. When I heard of the kids version, I knew it was something I had to read to my own kids. We had given them bits and pieces of the adult version before I had the chance to read this one, and they were fascinated. Heaven is for Real for Kids is beautifully written and illustrated just for children, and it’s held the attention of my six, nine, and even eleven year old sons each time I’ve read it with them. My six year old Joshua had many questions after we read it, and it was so interesting to hear his thoughts of heaven. He is most definitely
looking forward to being able to fly, which he absolutely believes he will be able to do.

When I opened my computer this evening, to my surprise, on the front of Yahoo news was an new interview from msnbc.com with Colton Burpo and his life today.

    It's no surprise that Todd Burpo's book, Heaven Is For Real is a bestseller. People love hearing about that place Shakespeare called "the undiscovered country." We want to know that there is something after death. Parents who have lost children want to know that their children are all right. People are looking for hope behind that great curtain of death. I believe many people will read Heaven Is For Real looking for that hope and they will find what they are looking for. At the very least, they will walk away having had an enjoyable read

    I just asked my 4 yr old son "what is Heaven?" He replied, "It's where you go when you die to live with Jesus, and eat lots of carrots so you can see EVERYTHING."

    My youngest are 4 & 5 and they believe Heaven a place where Jesus lives and where their Grandpa lives too. The say no one is sick there and feel better and live with God and Jesus. SweepsGirl(at)aol(dot)com
