As a kid, I remember lying awake on Christmas Eve, waiting for Santa, not being able to fall asleep because I was so excited. I just know I even heard jingle bells one year. But alas, I never caught a peek of him (and probably made my parents crazy by staying awake until the wee hours of the morning before they could go put our gifts under the tree).

One of my favorite Christmas memories was when I was a kid and it was a snowy Christmas Eve and these two guys dressed as Santa come walking up our walk. We were all looking out and yelling to them. They asked how many kids lived here and we told them. The next morning we found a candy cane for each of us on our porch.

I remember when my son tried to wake up my newborn daughter on Christmas morning. He was yelling that it was Christmas and she just kept sleeping and he was so confused!
when my daughter said she had heard the reindeers on the roof (it was really windy that night and was probably just the tree hitting the house)
well since I've had kids (5 years), it's a little tough, since the last two years kids have been sick with the stomach flu on Christmas. so I'm hoping this year will have some new fresh memories with sick-free kids!! so far, so good. 🙂 thanks for this giveaway!
