I’m way behind.
Gasp!
I know, I know, how could this be?
Well, here’s my confession…
The truth is, we just finished up our annual Women’s Conference, Priceless 2012, at my church. In preparation over the last six weeks, I’ve helped decorate by hand painting nine giant “Priceless” letters, cut about a zillion butterflies on my Silhouette machine for an art piece, and headed up the registration team. And that was just a tiny contribution compared to some of the work a few of the other team leaders had to do. But, I loved it, and enjoyed it, and it was totally worth it.
Priceless started last Thursday night and finished up this weekend. I meant to tell you all about it before it began, and give you the link so you could watch it on UStream live, and be blessed, buuuuutttt, I never got around to posting the info. Ugh, please don’t hate me. You can actually go back and watch the videos from the weekend, HERE is the link, and I really hope you will because your socks will be blessed right off your feet. No, really, it was amazing! God is so good!
Speaking of the conference here’s a little story. My husband was one of the speakers scheduled to preach (yes, ladies conference, man preaching, it works for us), like I said, it started Thursday, he’s scheduled for Sunday. In the meantime, he just flew back into America on Monday afternoon from a 19 day ministry trip to Australia then straight to Ghana Africa, and then home. Talk about jet-lag. On Wednesday, he had oral surgery to have some wisdom teeth cut out, as well as some other repair work in his mouth. Now, why we didn’t question the recovery time vs his scheduled speaking time before the surgery was scheduled, I don’t know. Needless to say, Sunday rolls around and he’s still down for the count, with a very painful swollen face. Ummm, we’ll try to plan ahead a little better next time.
Anyway, ALL that being said, conference, motherhood, husband gone then down for the count with a healing mouth, kids schoolwork and sports, dinners, Etsy (which I’m also behind on), housework (do I still have floors under this mess?), well, just life, I’m a bit behind on my blogging to-do list. I haven’t even had time to invite folks to my *Get Creative* party this week, so a shout out from all of you creatives about it would be totally awesome, and I’d come hug all of you if I could.
So, forgive me. At least I do have a few good kids books to giveaway this week *grin*

Are you exhausted just hearing about my busyness? Want to see pics of my laundry pile? Nah, I want you to come back to my blog, not run away from your computer screaming. Yeah, the laundry is that bad.

Aww I remember Precious Moments from when I was little! Looks like you have some good reads to review! Looking forward to seeing what you think about them!
I don't think I will ever get caught up on my reading. It doesn't seem possible. The Max Lucado book looks great. Hoping to win it for my niece.
We <3 Max Lucado's children's books!! How fun is it that your husband gets to fly all over the world!
It's so easy to get behind on things! So glad you're able to catch up this week. I'm a speed reader, and sometimes I get scared I may have missed something important. Thank you for sharing your love of books with us.
