If you’re looking for pretty, trendy, and even fantasy inspired jewelry, then you can look no further than Merlin’s Apprentice, Jewelry and Design Studio.

Merlin’s Apprentice grew out of Jennifer Hammburg’s original company, Comforts of Home. Merlin’s Apprentice is a jewelry line that she
created after her daughter wanted earrings for her non pierced ears. She wasn’t able to find what she wanted so, she created her own. 

Knowing that not
everyone has pierced ears Jennifer decided to offer the various types of ear
cuffs, wraps, and elf ears that she created to everyone. The response has
been wonderful and she has continued to design and create new pieces and
expand her store. The jewelry side of the store is now much larger than the
Home Craft side, so she decided it needed a life of it’s own.

I was so excited (as was my teen daughter) to be able to try three of the jewelry lines from Merlin’s Apprentice-

The set of 3 ear cuffs: one each of silver plated, antique brass, and hematite- Retails for $12.00

This
is a smaller simple design that can be worn with piercings or by
themselves.  They are intended to be worn on either ear, one at a time.
The set of three offers a different colors in one purchase.

The Ear Cuffs with beads- Retails for $12.50 (or
available for $22.50 made with solid sterling silver wire)
The pair I tried was made with silver plated wire and natural
gemstones, meant to be worn as a pair. The ear
cuffs fit on the edge of your ear and do not require you to have
pierced ears. They are made of wire and are slightly bendable for a
perfect fit.  This
style is also available as singles, and they can be ordered for the left or right side.

The set of 3 Aluminum Adjustable Mid Finger Rings- Retails for $15.00  

These
are a new addition to the shop and seem to really be trending in
fashion lately.  They are small rings intended to be worn between the
first and second knuckle.  They are a lot of fun and stay on quite well.
 Aluminum looks like silver but does not tarnish and is very light
weight.  This set has two wire bands and one wider band that is hand
hammered.  They are all left open to allow them to be adjustable.  They
can also be worn as pinky rings and even toe rings if you want!  These
come in size 4 to 5 by default but I can adjust the general size of
these to match requests.

My teen daughter and I both love these pieces. My favorites are the set of three ear cuffs, while hers are the mid finger rings. The pieces are fun enough that teens love them, yet stylish enough that I can wear them too.

    My fave is the Autumn Inspired Fall Leaves Earrings, Czech Glass Picasso Green Maple Leaves, Tiger Eye beads on antique copper ear wires. Green is one of my favorite colors & these are really cool 🙂
