The more Annie tries to control things, the more they fall apart. Her
feelings are spinning out of control, and her sister’s antics are
making life increasingly more difficult. Annie knows she needs to turn
the reins over to God, but surrender has never come easily.

When Dylan reveals his feelings for her, Annie doesn’t know what to
trust—her head or her heart. The trouble with this cowboy is that he
might just be exactly what she needs.

 

My Thoughts about The Trouble with Cowboys– 

 
I would compare this book to the equivalent of a clean, funny, easy to watch, romantic chick-flick. 
While the storyline was ultimately predictable, I enjoyed following the development of the characters and the paths they take to find each other. 
The main characters, Annie and Dylan, were very strong characters throughout the book. The author did a great job connecting the reader with each of their emotions and personalities. I also enjoyed the supporting characters, they brought a lot of life into the story. As the relationship between Dylan and Annie grows and develops, so does their faith and trust in God and other people. The ultimate lesson that Annie learns about judging others, is one that many of us can learn from.

If you’re looking for a light and refreshing story (that includes cowboys- and let’s be honest, who doesn’t love them) then I definitely recommend grabbing a copy of The Trouble with Cowboys!
