Courageous Teens by Michael Catt and Amy Parker

As a mom of teenagers, I recognize that being a Christian teen today requires a type of courage that is different than any that generations before them have needed. Because the lessons in this book are timeless (really anyone of any age can take something away from it) teens especially will appreciate how relevant it is written to their age and lifestyle today.  
It gives them strong foundational teaching without being boring or old fashioned.
There are lines from the movie Courageous scattered throughout, which I personally enjoyed. 

The book is divided into four categories-
Courageous Faith, Courageous Leadership, Courageous Priorities, and
Courageous Influence. Each category brings a fresh look at characters in the Bible
such as Abraham, Moses, Nehemiah, Ruth, and Daniel, as well as some
others. These characters displayed great faith and courage, and the
authors have taken their lives and tied them into great lessons that
today’s teens can walk away with.

Courageous Teens provides a powerful message that our youth today can build their leadership skills and faith upon. If you have a teen or even a preteen in your life, Courageous Teens is a great book to get in their hands this Christmas.
