It’s official.
Labor Day has come and gone, and although my kiddos went back to school in August, the Nation as a whole has jumped back in. I’ve loved taking and seeing all the first day of school photos of my kids and my friends kids from around America.
Of course, as we‘ve discussed already here at Just a Little Creativity, back to school supply shopping has to happen before that first day. Or, if you’re like us, the kids have come home with new lists for even more supplies they’ll need after they’ve begun. It seems never ending.
Paper.
Glue.
Scissors.
A million folders.
A million pencils.
A million pens.
Antibacterial wipes (I, of course, send in Wet Ones® wipes, my favorite!)
Crayons.
Calculators.
Erasers.

And so on…

All five of my kids are in school this year, and all five of them have teachers who will shell out their own money, or rely on donations to cover all the extra supplies. I’ve noticed that one of the top items on their lists are anti-bacterial wipes and wash such as Wet Ones®. These are important to keep germs and sickness at bay.
Because staying healthy this school year is important, I’ve already purchased and sent in those, but my
husband and I always try to fulfill at least some of the other wishlist items
from each classroom. But, we’ve found that often we’ll forget who needs what. My kids school is actually not currently listed, but all the information on signing a school up for participation is available on the website.
With the help of great companies like these who are willing to donate items and create a space where teachers can connect with their wishlist items, it’s a Win-Win for everyone- teachers, students, and parents this school year!
