Come on ladies, it’s time to plan your next Girls Night Out, and I’ve got the perfect suggestion. Grab your besties on March 14, at watch new feel-good chick-flick The Single Moms Club.
This is a story of five struggling single Moms who put aside their differences in the midst of a school dilemma with their kids to form a support group. Together, the five women find inspiration and laughter in their new friendships and help each other overcome the obstacles that stand in their way.
Directed by and starring Tyler Perry as well as Amy Smart, Wendi McLendon-Covey, Zulay Henao, Cocoa Brown, and Nia Long, reminds us of the incredible bond women form in friendships and sisterhood.
If you’re a reader here, then you know there was a time when my daughter was young that I was a single mom. Now, I’ve been married for almost 15 years. However, I look back on those years with fond memories of my best girls who helped me pull through a tough time. Friendships grew back then that love and cherish to this day. Now, almost all of us are happily married, but we can all look back and say “remember when…”
I’ll be gathering a few of them myself and hauling them to see this movie. For years, I’ve been a Tyler Perry fan (Madea anyone?). The fact alone that he is directing and starring in it makes me want to pre-order my tickets. I hope you’ll do the same.
The movie prize pack includes:
