I’ll be honest, I’d have never in a million years imagined that I’d be a mom of five precious kids. As beautiful as life is, there have been times that I’ve wanted to hide in a closet somewhere just for a minute of peace and quiet. When they were all under the age of ten, just the mere thought of having a “Me Moment” seemed preposterous. It wasn’t until a good mommy friend of mine let me know that for my own sanity I needed to start taking a guilt free minute to focus on myself whenever I could sneak one in.
What does this have to do with yogurt popsicles you ask? Well, for me taking that me moment means different things at different times, and sometimes that means indulging in a little snack. My sweet tooth craves ice cream, but my waistline does not. A better-for-me alternative? Yogurt popsicles. Imagine my excitement when I recently found an in-store demo at Walmart for the new Müller® Ice Cream Inspired Yogurt!

I mean, score, right! I almost did a happy dance in aisle, but my teenagers would’ve disowned me right then and there, so I kept myself under control. Instead, I scooped up several of the three flavors available (Raspberry Chocolate Chip, Vanilla Bean, and Mint Chocolate Chip) and told the teens to “Keep your hands off, these are mine, don’t judge.”
I also picked up a bag of frozen mixed berries to add to my popsicles. I knew that the The Müller Ice Cream inspired yogurt cups would be perfect for not only my popsicles but also to indulge in a yummy but quick out the door breakfast or afternoon snack.

Yogurt popsicles are so easy to make.
All you need are popsicle molds, the yogurt, and frozen berries (or other traditional ice cream toppings you enjoy)
Add a spoonful of the yogurt to the mold, then add another spoonful of the frozen mixed berries. To make them fit, I chopped the frozen berries in a food processor first.
I decided a little extra chocolate might be tasty, so in the vanilla bean and mint chocolate chip popsicles I added a squirt of chocolate syrup.
Then, add the remaining yogurt until your mold is full.
You could even mix two flavors of yogurt if you wanted.
Let them freeze for a few hours.
Run a bit of hot water over the mold when you’re ready to eat a popsicle so they slide out easily.

I do indeed feel like I’ve cheated on ice cream because the Müller ice cream flavors are spot on, vanilla bean is my very favorite.

Müller Ice Cream Inspired yogurt has less sugar than other yogurts, only 190-210 calories, and it’s also a good source of protein.
As I enjoy my “Me Moment” I know it’s the perfect indulgent treat and balance of taste and nutrition.

Sounds delicious doesn’t it?
