Who remembers when summer vacations meant free time to do nothing but let your imaginations soar?
Growing up, we would be out of the house to play outside from dawn till dusk. We had a backyard treehouse which became the setting for many, many grand adventures. We were pioneers, pirates, Boxcar children, explorers, mystery solvers, cowboys and cowgirls, the sky was the limit When evening arrived, that meant curling up in a comfy chair with a good book, to disappear again wherever my novel of choice took me.
I still get a excited about summer reading, there’s something nostalgic about the long, hot summer days.
So, I’m going to share my recommended summer reading list with you and link to my review posts once I share my thoughts.
