My little guy (going into second grade) enjoyed the printouts as much as the story. At his reading level, he was able to breeze through the rhyming words, where younger readers (preK to 1st) will be able to take a little more time, sound out the words, and enjoy the rhymes, illustration, and funny story. It’s a great book for elementary students to read out-loud to younger non-readers.
This book and activity kit are so enjoyable, kids won’t even know they’re spending their precious “summer vacation” away from school doing something educational, but parents can give themselves a big pat on the back for sneaking in a bit of learning during these hot months!

My son loves for me to read with him. We go to the library every other day and pick up 8 books…reading calms my Jackie boy.
My daughter does love to read. This time of year she does like to be outside, chasing frogs and butterflies and running around in the yard.

I read to my little one evryday. i think it is so important for them and he loves books. he also loves the beach and just being outside. We spend a lot of time taking walks and playing in the sand! I work from home two days a week so I am pretty lucky. I get to spend a lot of time with him!
