My brain was already working in creative mode, and being inspired by the idea of Finding Dory, I thought that putting together a fun scavenger hunt for the kids to do this summer would be a lot of fun.
So, I created a set of scavenger hunt cards, with a lot of random items, as well as items they would find that I would use to make their lunch with.

Once you print them, you just need to cut them out with scissors or a paper cutter.

Use a hole punch on the top of the cards. Then use a key ring and loop each card through it. This keeps them all together and organized.

There are a few ways to do a scavenger hunt.
You can have the kids team up and find the items together, or print two sets and have them race. I also like to set a timer and see how many items they can find within the time limit.
One other tip, when they’re done finding all the items, give them an extra incentive to put everything away when the game is over.

While they’re cleaning up, grab the soup, spoon, snack, and fruit they found and prepare their lunch.

This is a game they can play over and over all summer long.
