I can’t believe that our Elf on the Shelf Ringo Bells has been around for six years now!
That means by the end of this Christmas season, he’ll have been hidden and rehidden over 140 times! And, I’m pretty sure there have only been one or two repeat hiding places.
You can CLICK HERE for links to my best Elf on the Shelf ideas going all the way back to 2012.
I’ll update our 2017 ideas regularly here and on Instagram this year.
And as always, we’ve never done the “don’t touch the elf” and my kids have always known that it was me. They’ve even given me ideas on where to hide him over the years, and are so proud when their siblings wake up to find him.

Welcome back Ringo Bells! This year he arrived in a cute vintage truck under the tree.
