“Be Intentional” Free Printables for your New Year

Be Intentional Free Inspirational Quote Printables

When a new year rolls around, do you take time to think and pray about your year ahead, to find direction and inspiration?

Personally, like to forgo your typical New Years resolutions and lean more on praying for a particular word or phrase for the year. I do this for myself and my personal life, as well as with my husband, and I know my adult kids do too. It’s sometimes something we keep private or sometimes we talk to each other extensively about.

For example, my daughter has held her yearly words close to her heart as she’s pursued her college degree. She recently graduated from Belmont University here in Nashville, and you can here a bit about her journey, and how her yearly word was an anchor at times, HERE on my husband’s website Father’s Heart Ministries. I hope you find her words inspiring.

This year, there are actually so many directions I want to go naturally, and areas where I want to grow spiritually.  Of course I want to pursue the things everyone wants – to be more healthy, to spend more time with my family, to increase financially while budgeting better. I also want to continue to walk in joy, be more creative, and be a better friend.

I’ve prayed over all of these things, and the one thing that I keep hearing from the Lord is just to “Be Intentional”.

I mean, that makes so much sense right? To loose weight, you’ve got to be intentional about exercising and eating better. Not to intentionally eat three doughnuts (although, let’s be real, that’s way more fun). If you want to make more money, you have to be intentional and put yourself out there searching for new revenue streams.

If you want to be happy, you have to be intentional by taking the time each day to count your blessings and thank the Lord for your life, the good and the bad, the hard and the easy.

Visualization is a great way to remember things.

I love pretty typography quotes and words, and reading them over and over as a reminder.
I have a tattoo on my arm that says “It is well…..” and I can’t tell you how many times I’ve peeked at it throughout my days and thought, just, yeah that’s right, it is.

I’ve made four free printables with the underlying theme of “Be Intentional”

Download & print them out if you like them.

Hang them on your mirror, in a frame, in your car, save the image and use it as a wallpaper on your phone.
