30 Days About Me- I’m Such a Slacker

August 31, 2011 by Molly

What is this?
Can it possibly be the end of August already?
I’ve got some serious catching up to do on my 30 Days About Me Project, considering today is the last day. I’m going to keep my answers brief because there are so many. I hope you’ve enjoyed this little peak into my life and thoughts. I’ve enjoyed digging deep on some of these, exploring my own thoughts and ideas, I encourage you to do the same sometime, you might be surprised what you find out about yourself.
I’m linking up with A Daily Dose of Toni for the last day.

Day 13- Something or Someone that has had a huge impact on your life.
In reality there are so many things that have impacted my life. However, I’ll go ahead and narrow it down to three major events.
One, getting pregnant in high school with my daughter.
Two, giving my heart to Jesus.
Three, getting married.
Day 14- Somewhere You’d Love to Travel:
Figi is in the #1 space on my bucket list of places to see

Day 15- Describe Your Dream Home or show us a picture:
A home in the middle of the mountains, I don’t care if it’s the Applacians or Rockies, just give me the beauty and serenity and I’m good.

Day 16- Who Do You Do the Most Crazy Things With OR What is the Most Crazy Thing You’ve Done?
I pretty much play it safe, so I don’t have a huge list of crazy things to choose from. Once my friends and I decided to ride one of those thrill rides at waterparks (the kind you pay extra money for) that was nothing short of a giant sling shot that shoots you straight up in the air while you’re buckled into a small capsule device, without a top. I did think at that moment I might die. Not sure if that counts as crazy or just stupid.

Day 17- Your Biggest Insecurity & Something About Yourself You Are Proud Of
Although I know I can be good at it, I HATE speaking publicly to a large audience of any kind unless they’re all under the age of 10.
HATE. IT.
I do like that I can paint and do artsy things. It’s always been a great outlet for me.

Day 18- Wedding Talk (share stories, photos, both, anything having to do with your wedding, the one you had or the one you dream of)
Our wedding was in a church, and it was small and sweet. We planned it quickly, and kept it simple. My mom made my dress, and my sister was my only attendant. My husband wore a suit, and  had one of his best friends as his attendant. My daughter was just over two, and she was my flower girl. She took a tumble down the stairs in the middle of the ceremony, and it didn’t even get caught on video. The one thing I wish I’d done differently is had a professional photographer take our pics. I don’t have many good ones of the wedding, and I regret that.

Day 19-  A talent/hobby of yours
Oh, by now everyone knows I like to paint and do crafty things.

Day 20- Something you wished you could forget
Scary movies I’ve seen by accident. I can’t stand even flipping through the channels close to Halloween because I get clips of horror movies that stick in my head. Yuck.

Day 21- A recipe you love
I love all the recipes found on Skinnytaste.com

Day 22- Some of Your Favorite Websites
Moneysavingmom.com
TotallyTarget.com
Facebook
Tipjunkie.com

Day 23- Something you love to watch on youtube (or better yet a youtube video of yourself)
I have two favorite channels on Youtube, mostly because I can watch them with my kids and get a good laugh:
Julian Smith
Dude Perfect

Day 24-  Where You Live?  Tell us or show us about where you live
I live in a beautiful (but HOT) part of the country. It’s often referred to as the Emerald Coast of Florida. Home of the Blue Angels, and Florida’s white sand beaches.

Day 25- Who is/are your best friends?
I’ve been blessed with many fantastic friends throughout my life. While I will always consider them dear, life has taken many of us in different directions over the years.  Some I still stay in touch with, others not so much. My best friend is my husband, and my sister is a close second.

Day 26- Favorite clothing store.
Does Goodwill count? No? Ok, then probably Target and Kohls

Day 27- Worst Habit
Eating chocolate and sweets

Day 28- What’s in Your purse, backpack or computer bag?
The real questions is what’s NOT in my purse
Day 29- Who Has gotten you through the most?
Jesus
Day 30- A dream for the future beyond the next year…think long term
Raise my kids to help them find and walk in their destiny. Keep growing my Etsy shop, maybe even take some college art classes just for fun. I’d love to live closer to my brother and his family, as well as my husbands family. Get in shape and do a 5K (no full marathons for me). Travel.
