Gabby, God’s Little Angel by Shelia Walsh *Giveaway Winner Announced*

October 28, 2011 by Molly

This new childrens book Gabby, God’s Little Angel written by Sheila Walsh and illustrated by Marina Fedotova is the story about Gabby, an accident prone angel who gets her first assignment from God for a little girl named Sophie that’s learning about how God is always protecting her. It’s funny watching Gabby on her first assignment, that turns out to be more of a challenge than she originally thought. Sophie has a close call while riding her pony, which helps her to learn that the Bible says “He will put His angels in charge of you. They will watch over you wherever you go” Psalm 91:11
My kids do crazy things, from the youngest to the oldest. It seems like each day I’m putting a band-aid on someone who has fallen off a swing or scraped their knee outside. It also seems
that with each new step in life, I’ve had to let go a little at a time, and trust them to God’s care. It’s not always been easy. If it were, what would we need to trust God for? I’m thankful daily for His protection and for the angels He has assigned to our lives.

You can take a peek at this adorable book HERE.  You can also find more information, coloring pages, and where to buy this book on Shelia Walsh’s website HERE.

this book looks really cute. recently a neighbor called me and said that my daughter was up in our second-story window looking out. the window was open. if she had pushed on the screen, it would have been scary. I'm glad that that neighbor saw my daughter at that time and let us know.

The best gift I could give my daughter while entering Pre-school was having her go to a Christian Pre-school. She has learned so much about Jesus! It helps to have other children around her, her age age excited to learn about the bible and God's Love! She even reminds me to pray before meals! I love that!!
    Thanks!

My son turns 5 this month and has recently become very interested in God and angels. We moved him to a Christian preschool and have a lot of conversations about how God loves us and sends his angels to watch over us. In typical 4/5 year old fashion, he always has lots of questions, so I'm constantly on the hunt for new books or movies to help him understand.
