How to Make a WWE Action Figure Toy Title Belt {With a Video Tutorial}

September 22, 2014 by Molly

My boys love the WWE. It’s one of those things that I’m not sure when or where it began, but before I knew it we were watching Smackdown and RAW and WWE Network…
And right along with them, I’ve learned more about professional wrestlers than I ever wanted to know.
That really has nothing to do with this post, but I’m just keeping it real here. Need WWE facts? Well, my brain is now a wealth of knowledge thanks to being schooled by my third grader.

Speaking of the boys, they’ve accumulated quite a few toy WWE wrestler action figures. And who knew those guys come with accessories? Yes, a Title Belt is a big thing to have if you’re a wrestler or a child playing with a wrestling figure. My son Josh has figured out a DIY version of these, and was just itching to put together a video tutorial for, in his words, “Everyone who would like to know how to make their own belt”.

How bout that video huh? Round of applause! Next time I’ll make sure he films it in landscape mode, but otherwise, I’d say he was perfect.

I feel that when kids get creative, they’re smart about it and figure out easy ways to accomplish a project. This is one of the simplest tutorials ever, but it works perfectly. And like Josh says, if it rips by accident or you want a new belt design or whatever, it takes about 3 minutes to make a new one.

Supplies:
Google image of the title belt, printed to be about 3-4 inches long
White glue
Tinfoil
Scissors

Cut out the title belt image and glue it onto a strip of the tinfoil.

Then, cut the tinfoil belt out.
That’s it.
The tinfoil is perfect because it’s bendable and holds it’s shape. So far this belt is adjustable fit to all of my boys action figures, where the store bought ones didn’t fit all of their guys.

If you love this idea, Josh would be delighted if you let him know, so feel free to leave a comment here or on YouTube, it would make his day!
