Unicorns, unicorns everywhere. It’s a thing these days isn’t it? I shared a round-up a while ago of 10 Colorful Unicorn Recipes. At the time, I didn’t think I’d make anything unicorn themed myself, since these days I have a house full of teenage boys. There aren’t really any girly or brightly colorful themed parties happening around here.
But, I just couldn’t resist, and one afternoon I decided to take the plunge and create a “Rainbow Unicorn Fruit Dip” and my goodness was it good!
There will be no confirming nor denying if the teenage boys didn’t care at all that it was cute, and only cared that it tasted good paired with a platter of fresh strawberries, bananas, apples, blueberries, and grapes. There may have even been a giant marshmallow or two that made it into the dip.
This recipe is super simple to make (and it’s really similar to my Candy Bar Fruit Dip)-
Ingredients:
1/4 cup honey (I like to use local honey)
8 oz cream cheese
2/3 cup Honey Vanilla Greek Yogurt
Wilton Gel Food Colors
Directions:
Soften cream cheese to room temperature,
Add yogurt and cream cheese to large bowl, mix well until smooth.
Add honey, mix well.
Add one drop of each desired food color & gently stir
Add sprinkles on top & serve with fresh fruit.
This recipe could be adjusted to be served at birthday parties, baby showers, wedding showers, the sky is the limit.
All you need to do is adjust the gel coloring to fit your theme! Use more blue for a boy baby shower or birthday, or more pinks for a girl.
Enjoy!
