Know what happened March 2, 2012?
The Lorax movie hit theaters! I was so excited about it, probably even more than my kids were.
Growing up, reading a Dr. Seuss book was a tradition many nights before bed at our house.
Now that I have little ones of my own, his books have become a favorite in our home again.
March 2, 2012 was also Read Across America in honor of the real Dr. Seuss’ birthday. You can find out more about that at Seussville.com
My kindergartener Joshua brought home information about Dr. Seuss week at his school. He had a list of daily fun things to wear to school.
Monday- Wacky Socks
Tuesday- Dress like his favorite Dr. Seuss character
Wednesday- Dress Wacky
Thursday- Wear PJ’s to school
Friday- Wear his school kindergartener
For his Tuesday costume, I made a No-Sew Thing One shirt for him to wear- Find my tutorial HERE.
