Joshua is turning six in November, and I’ve been gathering ideas and supplies to throw him an amazing Pirate themed party. While the decor has been easy to find, I was having a bit of a harder time finding invitations that I was happy with, as well as fun game ideas for his party.
I found exactly what I needed at Party Games Plus. I found cool pirate themed invitations that can be customized to include all the party info. They come in a high resolution jpg and microsoft publisher file template so I could print my own. No need to take them to a professional printer. The invitations included two designs,  one featuring a boy, and the other featuring a girl.  They also included a pirate font for even more customization options.
Not only did I find great invitations, but also a fantastic Pirate Party Treasure Hunt Riddles Kit. 
It has everything I’ll need for setting up a treasure hunt.  One of the things I like best it that the pirate treasure hunt is also delivered in a PDF files and includes all the instructions you need to set up the hunt. The riddles / clues are already typed on an old worn paper background and typed in the fun pirate font.  Each clue has pirate lingo as they lead the children to the next hidden clue.  The clues are hidden among everyday household objects, so I won’t need to purchase any extra props or items to make the treasure hunt. Can it get any easier than that? No need to run out to the store for anything extra, I can make and print it all from home. 

This kit also comes with four free pirate party activity sheets. 

– A pirate lingo sheet, perfect for teaching the partygoers how to talk like a pirate.
– A pirate maze.
– A pirate ship coloring sheet.
– A pirate word search
Because these are also in a PDF file, I can print as many of the activity sheets as I want. I plan on using them at the party, and also including them in the goodie bags to send home with the kids.
This will surely be a Pirate party to remember!
